I don't think she's handling the divorce very well...



I love Pink. (No, Keith and I are NOT getting divorced. HELL NO!) I am getting her haircut, though.

The Haircut

So apparently Matthew got tired of waiting for me to cut Josie's hair (and his own) and decided to take matters into his own hands.

This earned him loss of watching TV and playing his (age-appropriate) computer games for the rest of Thursday and all of Friday. Thursday afternoon, I did damage control.
I managed to keep the front long (this is important for later), but made the back all spiky. It's actually cute.

Friday morning, I came downstairs to the kitchen, and he had a guilty look on his face and both hands behind his back (not before I saw a pair of scissors, though). Turns out he had TWO pair of scissors (one in each hand). I spanked his butt all the way to the bottom of the stairs. He went to his room.

THEN I realized he'd cut his sister's hair, AGAIN. I went upstairs, spanked him again, and took every toy out of his room, including his trains.

This time he cut into the top.

So he was grounded to his room (with NO toys except crayons, coloring books, and books to read until Saturday dinner time. What does he do on Saturday? He colors all over his bedroom walls with the crayons. So those were taken away too, leaving him with books he can't read.

This is what the back looks like without any product in it. Not to bad at all.
*sigh*

It's a good thing it's just hair and she's pretty damn cute no matter what her brother manages to do to her!

And she's now potty-trained! We're still working on pooping in the toilet, but she's got the potty part down! YAY! No more diapers! Which is good, cause we really can't afford them anymore.

CHILDREN!

I do not like my son right now. He cut his sister's hair. Not in the front, so I could fix it and pretend like bangs were want I wanted to do with her hair, but in the back, where it's supposed to be longer.

It's like an inch long. Sticks straight up.

I'm in the process of setting up our annual family pictures, too. fanfuckingtastic timing. I'd laugh, but I'm really pissed, mostly because now there's hair EVERYWHERE in my bedroom.

Hair

Yeah, my hair has been bugging me again, so I had the back chopped. The front is still long, though.

That, and last night was the first solid night of sleep I've had since Josie got sick on Sunday. She's still running a fever, but at least she runs a normal fever, like 100.5, instead of the insane fevers that Keith and Matthew run (103.5).

On a positive note, my bulbs that I planted a few weeks ago are starting to pop up. I'll have to take some pictures for everyone.

Oh, and I'm getting my hair chopped tonight.

Another day, another post.

Not too much excitement at Casa de Sader today. Laundry and cleaning, watching the Chiefs lose, etc....

Spyder did come over and get her hair colored after the game, though, that was nice. I enjoy doing hair and talking to other adults. Especially the talking to other adults. Keith is nice, but he's usually distracting the kids while I hide from them.

Oh, and Keith and I had a great time last night. My alcohol tolerance is definitely improving. YAY!

Ugh.

I HATE cleaning. Of course, I never dust anything in my house, so when I do finally get around to doing the deep cleaning, it's quite thick. In most rooms, a swiffer works just fine. But the bathroom where I use all my hair stuff? It's just nasty.

And, I'd rather paint my toenails than clean.

As you can see, it's way more angled in the back, which is great, because that's the part that was bugging me the most!

Voting is over, new hair!

Yeah, it doesn't LOOK that different, but trust me, it lays much nicer now! More angled, layers, and thinned out to make it have some curvature. Feels so much nicer now!

I'll actually fix it myself tomorrow and post another pic.

I must say,

I'm a little surprised that NO ONE has voted for me to grow my hair long. I thought for sure someone would!

Oh well, I have no patience what so ever, so I'm calling to make an appt today. :P
