I've had that happen to me once. I was at the apartment laundry mat. Had to pull sopping wet clothes from the washer and put them in another washer, while spending more money to wash, and wasting good detergent.
It sucked.
Hopefully, it's something that easily fixable...and cheap.

Sorry about it. I know it can be a hassle. We didn't have washer-dryer for a month, and it was torture for me to go to the laundromat.
