Anything, Everything, and Nothing at all
There is nothing any president can do about this. People who do these kinds of things are usually not interested in what a president has to say on the subject. So the question is important but mis-addressed.
You're probably right, but the President of our country is supposed to be our Leader. Right now, we don't have a leader. Right now we have a resident-in-chief who actually encourages this behavior. Don't worry, I really doubt the Republican candidates will actually be asked this question.
